Business Research Methods (BRM) will sensitize students about the process of research in the business management domain. The various steps of business research will be discussed, i.e., identifying a scenario, formulating a research problem, literature review, identifying the data source/ collection of data, identify the research method, analysis of data, writing the results and conclusions. The course will also discuss the importance of doing research, the ethical issues pertaining to research, and plagiarism related issues.

The objective of this course is to make students aware of the research process and various types of research methods that can be used to solve business problems. As the outcome of the course, students will have to go through the complete research process and deliver a research paper. The research process will be carried out in consultation with the faculty supervisor and research mentor.
